Human Driven
Our headquarters is in Austin, Texas. From here, we serve clients around the world. eightM was originally founded to support European companies entering the U.S. market through acquisitions. Today, we are among the fastest-growing M&A advisory firms in the United States. Nearly 70% of our mandates come from the U.S. and Canada. Our network grows exponentially each year. We are able to execute mandates without needing to market them publicly. We know the market.

Andre Achtermeier, Founder and CEO
Andre Achtermeier, a German native, holds an MBA in Business Information Systems and has founded, built, and successfully sold multiple companies. He brings this experience into day-to-day operations and is committed to personally advising and supporting each mandate end-to-end.
In Germany, Andre served for nearly a decade as an appointed judge on the Commercial Court.
He is married, has two daughters, and lives in Austin, Texas. When he is not advising on M&A, he travels the world, learns languages, and stays active through sports.
His community involvement is focused on supporting U.S. veterans transitioning from military service to corporate life in the United States.
